Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:14-16
It is always exciting when you witness the baptism of new believers in Christ. I had the privilege to do just that last week. Two new believers were baptized. Let’s keep these men lifted up in our prayers this next week as I am sure there will be warfare that will take place. Pray that they will be able to resist the enemy and overcome sin when it arises in their lives. Pray that they will have a daily, disciplined quiet time in order to know the Word of God and develop a powerful life of prayer. Pray that will continue to grow in spiritual maturity and humility. Pray that their hearts would mature in faith so that they may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ. Pray that the church at St. Clair will surround them with love and support.
