Bless the Lord, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul! Psalms 103:22
As this year is coming to an end, please join me in praise to God at all that has been accomplished in 2015. This last year we have had 55 men graduate our Lifelink class. Lifelink is a class that teaches men leadership, character and financial principles. Out of the 55 men who graduated 5 have got parole cuts and for two others it resulted in an early parole in which they had the opportunity to go home!
Also in this last year we had 15 men graduate our Fatherhood program. We were able to reward these men by a graduation in which their families were able to come and celebrate with them! We have also had 13 baptisms in our chapel this last year along with multiple other commitments to Christ. Last April we also held our first ever ordination service in which 8 men were ordained as Elders in the church at St Clair. It has been truly a blessing to see these men in the last several months lead out in discipling the church behind bars. Friends, this is just a short list of praises from this last year and as I am now preparing for and looking toward the future, I can tell you that 2016 will be even better.
I am excited to kick off another year and I would ask you to join with me in prayer that in 2016, God would have an even larger impact on the lives of the men that I serve! Pray that the church would continue to grow, addictions would be broken, wounds of the past would be healed, families would be reconciled and God would be glorified! Pray that I would remain sensitive to the Holy Spirits leading and be humble in the service of my Lord!
