Episode 004: Deborah Daniels, Once Incarcerated Now a Director For Prison Fellowship

In this fourth episode of the Detention to Redemption podcast, I interview Deborah Daniels, the southeast area director of Prison Fellowship.  During this podcast Deborah shares how her life of drug addiction led her to incarceration, not once but three times. She shares how imprisonment had an effect on her children and how God brought healing to their family through the church.  Deborah believes that prison ministry is one of the biggest mission fields that we have in America and that it gives the body of Christ the opportunity to start working with the offender in a controlled environment. Her testimony of imprisonment, redemption and how prison ministry impacted her life will encourage you to reach out to those who are incarcerated.

  1. Would love to have you come to Shepherds Fold a 501(c)3 non-profit, faith-based, transitional ministry for formerly incarcerated men and woman in Birmingham, Alabama. This program was started by Mary kay Beard and her husband 30 years ago. Sadly only now we have heard of her going to be with Jesus. I am sure we have a number of testimonies from the men and woman who reside in this 6-month re-entry program that would be an encouragement. See http://www.sfalabama.org for a point of reference.

  2. Deborah looking forward to helping the church’s where needed this year just let me know. From Barbara Pelzer formerly of the AIM house
